Technical Tour: Incline Village General Improvement District (IVGID)

Join us for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the Incline Village General Improvement District (IVGID), the public utility serving the Incline Village and Crystal Bay communities along the north shore of Lake Tahoe.

During this guided experience, attendees will tour both the drinking water and wastewater treatment facilities while learning how IVGID delivers reliable utility services and protects one of the nation's most environmentally sensitive watersheds. The tour will showcase the treatment processes, operational strategies, and infrastructure that support sustainable water management and preserve the exceptional water quality of Lake Tahoe.

What You'll Learn

Tour Details

• Departure: Approximately 7:00 AM from the conference hotel

• Transportation: Chartered shuttle service provided

• Travel Time: Approximately 1 to 1¼ hours each way

• Facility Tour: Approximately 2 to 2½ hours

• Return: Expected back at the conference hotel by 12:00 PM, allowing attendees to participate in afternoon conference activities

• Capacity: Limited to 25 participants (advance registration required)

• Tour Fee: $20 per person to help offset transportation costs
