About Us

The Nevada Water Environment Association (NWEA) is a vital member association of the Water Environment Federation (WEF), which is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing the global water environment. NWEA, established in 1964, is a non-profit educational organization that has grown to a membership of over 300 individuals, agencies, and companies who are involved in municipal and industrial wastewater engineering, collection, analysis, treatment, operations, and disposal.

Our association is dedicated to promoting the advancement of water quality education in the State of Nevada. We strive to educate and assist those who have an interest in water quality by providing access to a variety of programs and services, including training and technical assistance, workshops, conferences, and networking opportunities.

At NWEA, we believe that clean water is essential to the health and well-being of our communities, and we are committed to preserving and protecting this vital resource. Our members work tirelessly to develop and implement innovative solutions to address the unique challenges facing our state's water environment. Through collaboration, education, and advocacy, we aim to promote sustainable practices that protect and preserve our water resources for future generations.
