The City of Reno has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a highly experienced professional who possesses strong leadership, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and technical background to fill the position of Engineering Manager.

This individual will be responsible for managing, supervising, directing and coordinating assigned activities and operations within the Utility Services Department including leading and oversight of programs, engineering activities; coordinating assigned activities with other divisions, outside agencies, and the general public; ensuring adherence to adopted engineering standards, rules, regulations, and specifications; and serving as a technical resource for assigned work staff while also interacting and coordinating with the City Engineer; and will be responsible for providing assistance to the Director of Utility Services.
