COVID-19 Monitoring in Wastewater
According to current research, the testing of wastewater sewage for SARS-CoV-2 RNA may provide a seven day leading indicator of outbreaks compared to other compiled testing data. Join our webinar series with leaders in the industry to learn more about this growing area of research and practice.
Webinar attendees will gain a broad understanding of the current body of research on wastewater monitoring of COVID-19. Attendees will also learn how real-life monitoring programs are being managed and executed in state-wide programs.

Method Detection Limits: In 2017 the EPA adopted an updated version of 40 CFR 136 Appendix B: Definition and Procedure for the Determination of the Method Detection Limit—Revision 2. The MDL procedure had been the same since it was first promulgated in 1984. As such, it is not surprising that many laboratories are unaware of the change or are struggling to understand how to implement the new procedure in their laboratory. This presentation will seek to define Method Detection Limits (MDL), explain how to calculate them and give laboratories the best ways to implement the new procedure.
