Engineers Without Borders African Dinner
Come spend an evening enjoying one of the exotic pleasures this world has to
offer: an African dinner. Few people have an opportunity to experience such an
event.
Date: Saturday, June 13
Time: 6:00 to 9:30 p.m.
Location: A Thyme for all Seasons
310 E. Warm Springs Road
(near the corner of Bermuda and Warm Springs)
Price: $50 per ticket
Dress: Casual
The fare will be served buffet-style throughout the evening with hors d’oeuvres
being hand-served. Beer and wine will be complimentary and a cash bar will
be available for other cocktails. Admission includes dinner, dancing, authentic
African entertainment, and slideshows of current EWB projects. All proceeds
from this event will benefit the Ghana Orphanage Program.
A silent auction will be held during dinner to raise money for the overseas
development work being conducted by Engineers Without Borders. Items up
for bid include pure-bred puppies, a slot machine, golf passes, sports memorabilia,
dinner certificates, and more.
